Bystronic customers operate more economically. The specialist for cutting and bending will once again back up this statement with facts at this year's Euroblech.

In addition to the familiar you can see particularly a worldwide innovation.

Anyone who wants to get right up to date about the economic processing of sheet metal would be well advised to visit the Bystronic stand right at the start of this year's Euroblech exhibition. With solutions for laser and waterjet cutting, as well as bending, automation and software, Bystronic will once again be setting a highlight at the 2006 exhibition. And the world first, with which Bystronic will redefine laser cutting, will give plenty to talk about, both at the exhibition and after the event. Just a little advanced information: It is a machine that is simple and compact, clever, reassuring and complete. All the rest will be revealed to visitors to Euroblech. Meeting point: Euroblech Hall 12, Stand B30/B48.

Automation at all levels

One of the main features of this year's Bystronic Euroblech display is the automation of the flow of material and the manufacturing process, both with laser and waterjet cutting, and bending. Thus the highly dynamic Byspeed laser cutting machine on the stand is supported by the worldwide proven Bytrans automatic sheet loader and unloader, which allows the unique potential of the Byspeed to be used to the full. In practice this means that production is not only faster, but also more economical.

In the field of waterjet cutting, Bystronic is still the only supplier that can offer its Byjet machines with an optional shuttle table. This increases the productivity of the system by up to 30 percent and makes a further extension of the level of automation possible. Just such a shuttle table system that is supplied by the automatic Byloader swivel loader will be on display.

Also in the bending sector automation is the key word. Visitors to the Bystronic stand will hence be able to experience the outstanding characteristics of a robot cell consisting of a Beyeler PR bending machine combined with an industrial robot. The combination permits a productivity increase of up to 42 percent and guarantees a product quality that is independent of the operator. The very short set-up times and the process security are further characteristics that complete the outstanding profile of such a robot cell.

Customer requirements consistently interpreted

In addition to the robot cell, the complete spectrum of Bystronic solutions for manual bending will be on show. Whether it be the high-end solution with the Hämmerle 3P, top class machines from the Beyeler PR family or the mid-range systems in the AFM EP series – Bystronic is able to provide an optimal solution for any bending requirement like no other supplier. Each of these product families will be represented on the stand.

Since the spring of 2006, Bystronic users can take advantage of the new high power ByLaser 6000, which with its six kilowatts of constant output power is offered with the Bystar machine. Anyone who has not yet had an opportunity to see this system in operation should definitely take advantage of the opportunity provided at the Euroblech exhibition. Thanks to the increased laser power, the range of sheet metal thicknesses is increased and demanding jobs can not only be processed more quickly but also with increased quality. The ByLaser 6000 is powered by a wear-free semiconductor resonator which has been exclusively designed by Bystronic. Thanks to this worldwide unique method of resonance, which is also used with other Bystronic laser sources, for the corresponding Bystronic user the costly replacement of worn out transmission valves is a thing of the past.

One of the major public attractions is the Bystronic Software Forum. The market has long since become aware that with its Bysoft CAD/CAM program package Bystronic offers perhaps the most user-friendly and powerful application software for cutting and bending. This statement can be verified at the Software Forum. Amongst other things, which have recently been added to the Bystronic service portfolio, the remote diagnostics will be demonstrated. Using this instrument, the customer can make the process-related data and the actual status of the individual machine processes available to the Bystronic Helpline so that maintenance tasks can be even more rapidly and efficiently initiated.

"Bystronic is superbly prepared to tackle the competition. Why? Because we provide our customers with the ideal tools to combat their own competitors. Anyone who manufactures using Bystronic machines manufactures more economically and efficiently" says Christoph Schüpbach, Head of the Europe North/East Market Region.
