Educational event for architects to highlight Glass Magazine Award winners

ueprint for Collaboration event for architects during GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo. The Glass Magazine Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 10:00-11:15 am, kicking off a full day of free educational programming addressing collaboration among architects and the glass and glazing community.

The awards presentation will offer insights on the projects and products that push the envelope of what glass and glazing can do. Attendees will hear about the glass and glazing innovations that provide performance and aesthetic solutions required by architects and owners, meet the project team winners, and learn what's possible with glass.

“This new integration of the Glass Magazine Awards into the Blueprint for Collaboration program is a natural fit to celebrate the best of the glass industry alongside our architect partners,” says Lakisha Woods, NGA president and CEO. “We invite the architect community to join us as we recognize excellence in glass design, and their prominent, collaborative role in bringing these visionary projects to life.”

The Glass Magazine Awards ceremony will feature ten project winners in categories including: Best Glass Interior, Best Decorative Glass Application, Best Protective Glazing, Best Green Project and Project of the Year. Plus, seven product winners in categories including: Best Hardware and Best Framing System.

Blueprint for Collaboration illuminates the modern, artistic and functional uses for architectural glass and metals, offering up to 4.5 LUs from educational programming. Architects receive free entry to the AIA-accredited event by using promo code Blueprint25 at registration.
