Date: 12 June 2015

The renowned Slovenian artist, Matej Andraž Vogrinčič, known for his large-scale artistic interventions in the public space, opened his new project in the TR3 Gallery, Ljubljana.  It is a spatial installation, called Gmota (Mass) and made up of 9,000 different tumblers.

The project has been realised in cooperation with Steklarna Hrastnik, which made the tumblers.

Before the formation of the installation, Vogrinčič was testing different types of glass, their texture and clarity, for several months in order to find the most appropriate glass for the realisation of his idea. The exhibition is on view until 18 September.
