AGC Glass Russia at MosBuild Exhibition

Date: 20 April 2012

At the “Construction and Architecture” event held on April 10 – 13 during the annual “MosBuild 2012” exhibition AGC Glass Russia introduced a new concept of innovative solutions in the glassmaking industry, aimed at achieving a qualitative shift in the established notions of products, services, design, architecture, and interior decoration.

The company’s stand focused on the advantages of the modern coatings in the Stopray product line and the most recent advances in the field of multifunctional products. The innovative magnetron sputtering process gives exceptional properties to the finished products, combining protection against cold and sun, reduction of thermal losses and conceptual sustainability of buildings.

Dmitry Deniskin – Marketing Manager AGC Glass Russia:

“Participating again in ’MosBuild 2012,‘ the biggest Russian trade show for glassmakers and glass processing professionals, we have managed to meet a number of important objectives. First we have established an efficient and convenient communication platform enabling us to discuss in detail the potentially beneficial cooperation in the glass market and analyze together with our customers the prospects for development in the glassmaking industry. We have built new ties and attracted new potential partners. Even more importantly we had an opportunity to proactively test the business climate and evaluate the prospects of the facade and glazing markets for the current year.

Announcing the launch of a comprehensive Stopray product line which is about to be adopted by AGC Russia, we turned our stand into a unique demonstration site, using many of the Stopray products as decorative and structural components”.

The unhackneyed conceptual design of the stand served as an eye-catcher for visitors. Many of them – not only the industry professionals – used the stand as a flashy background for their photos. The professional part of the audience used the opportunity to stop by and ask questions about the composition, structural elements and materials used in the stand. The dimensional ”R“ letter placed against the background of live plants symbolized the innovative environmental properties of the Stopray glass. Flat screens embedded in the whole multifaceted glass panels showcased dozens of installations built in Russia with AGC glass that have become new landmarks in cities such as Sochi and Tyumen, Kazan and Samara, Novosibirsk and Ufa, Chelyabinsk and Novorossiysk, as well as many other regional centers.

The visitors to the AGC Glass Russia stand were convinced of the dramatic advances made in the Stopray technology and were able to learn about the unparalleled functional properties at the forefront of the architectural innovation and design solutions for modern buildings and glass facades.
