AGC Flat Glass Europe awarded two prizes by International Forum Design

AntiBacterial glass and Mirox 3G mirror each win an ‘M Technology Award’ AGC Flat Glass Europe won two M Technology Awards at the ZOW* furniture trade show in Germany on 25 Februari 2008.

The glassmaker took home first prize for its AntiBacterial glass and second prize for its new Mirox 3G mirror.



The M Technology Award event is organised by International Forum Design (iF), a globally renowned industrial design institution established in 1953. The competition is open to all companies, whether or not they are exhibiting at ZOW. The jury - which includes the German Interior Designers Association (BDIA) and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung - awarded prizes to AntiBacterial glass for its innovative nature and Mirox 3G mirror for its environmental benefits.



This is, in fact, the second distinction for these two AGC products. AntiBacterial glass was recently awarded the Innovation Prize at Batimat and Mirox 3G mirror won the Belgian Environment Award.
