I WOULD BE MOST INTERESTED IN ANY PRODUCTS WHICH HAVE BEEN USED SUCCESSFULY IN SEALING THE SURFACE OF SANDBLASTED GLASS WHICH DO NOT LEAVE A BLOTCHY APPEARANCE, AND CAN WITH STAND CONSTANT CLEANING.
I would like to know what is the average tolerance when cutting glass (with machinery)?
In our business we use curved panels of tempered glass in windshield assemblies. We have a piece with three scratches approx. 14 mm long, and penetrating the surface. We have polished them out with a product called "Scratch Lifter" purchased at "Liquidresins.com". My question is - does polishing tempered glass to remove a surface imperfection such as a scratch compromise the structural integrity of the pane of glass? The glass we use is produced by Trend Glass if this has any bearing. Also, the polishing action did not produce any noticable distortion to the glass.
Do you have any resources on how to produce a gold mirror? It is sometimes called

I work as an engineer in the automobile industry. We have vehicles that have pyrolitic coating on the auto glass which is regarded by our transport authorities as overly reflective for safety reasons. I would appreciate any information how this pyrolitic coating could be removed without destroying the glass.

Can anyone tell me if the the American tempered glass standards are comparable to the European standard EN 12150-1 or the Canadian Standard CAN/CGSB-12.1-M90. Is there a potential problem here when importing foreign glass products manufactured to a different standard?
I am trying to find out some prediction for the flat glass consumption in the future? Can anybody provide me with this type of information?
