I'm wanting to fit a windshield on a custom vehicle
that has a slight bow. Over 48" it has approximately
a 1.5" arc. I want to use a piece of flat laminated
glass and heat it to form it. How much of a job will
this be? Anyone out there do this?
I would like assistance with the safety requirements of Profilit Glass. This is being glazed as a feature and is from ground level. I am concerned about breakage or impact.
Also I would like to know of any similar products.
Thank you for your assistance

I am the chair of Advocates For Safe Glass,I am collecting data with regard to injuries as a result of impact with wired glass. Can any of you help in this matter. I became involved as a result of my son being injuried. Thank You.
Hi, I'm an architecture student and I'm searching some informations about liquid cristal panels which I could use in some parts of external walls of my building. The usage of this panel is to obtain visions on it, like on the big screen. The building is a bookshop and on the panel there will be some extracts of the book, so only text. I know, that something like that has been already used in some building in Europe. Do you know anything?
Thanks for help, Martha
I search software for calculated spectrometric performance/propertis of glass.
Thanks and best regards.
I would like to hear from anybody who applies safety backing film to mirrors and/or protective film to flat glass. We have designed and manufactured 6 machines in the UK for applying these types of backings/films. If you currently do it by hand, or need to start doing it, our machine will facilitate this.
Who supplies selfcleaning coating materials?
I have noticed a few questions on this forum asking about switchable-glass technologies like liquid-crystal and electrochromic. A new switchable-glass technology was commercialized this year. It is called suspended-particle-device (SPD) technology. SPD glass allows you to vary the light transmission of glass or plastic from almost clear to almost dark, and everything in between. Like competing technologies, SPD film or glass requires a voltage to control the light transmission.
