I have been thinking about installing architectural PV glass as a roofing material,however one big problem is the high cost of thelaminated PV glass. Glass laminating lines are not cheap, so I am wondering how practical it would be to make laminated PV glass myself on a smaller scale. Does anyone have any idea about
what the minimum start up cost to do this would be and if this is a crazy idea or not?

Im looking for someone with knowledge of the use of lithium minerals (spodumene, petalite, lepidolite) or lithium compounds (carbonate etc.) in glass production. I would particularly like to know which, if any, companies are using lithium in glass production for energy saving and processing improvements.
Can anyone tell me what the definition of a weight case or weight box is when referring to flat glass production and whether this can be converted to m2 or tonnes, these terms are often referred to when looking at Chinese production.

Is it possible that somebody with experience in templating for glass can get in touch with me please. Our company is Laser Products Europe Ltd and we sell a digital laser templating device that can create dxf files ready for any CAD/CAM which can be emailed from site back to the workshop / office. We are looking for some information on how aplicable our system is to your industry as at the moment we are flat out in the Stone Fabrication market (Worktops) but we have been contacted by a few glass manufacturers of late that have told us it would be fantastic for measuring glass jobs.
Whats out there to do this without shutting down?
have project with noticeable colour variation between individual lites of glass. colour variation in low e coating. anyone else having similar problem. architecturally unacceptable variance.
