Xinyi Glass to Open Ultra-Thin Electronic Glass Plant in Wuhu

Xinyi Glass Holdings Ltd. has signed a letter of intent with Wuhu city in China’s Anhui province to set up a plant that will make ultra-thin electronic glass products, the company said in an e-mailed statement today.

T-FAMILY: Arial; FONT-SIZE: 9pt" lang="EN-US">The company also said it plans to invest HK$250 million in a project to generate electricity from the residual heat generated by its float-glass furnaces.
