Walt Lifsey Joins View Inc. as Chief Operations Officer

Industry executive brings extensive experience in building global operations -- View Inc., the leader in dynamic glass, today announced Walt Lifsey, an operations executive with a diverse industrial background, has joined View as its Chief Operations Officer.

Lifsey brings extensive experience in transitioning new products into high volume manufacturing and developing their supporting systems and supply chains.“We are excited to have Walt join the View team,” said Dr.Rao Mulpuri, CEO of View Inc. “Demand for View’s Dynamic Glass is accelerating as the benefits in user experience and energy efficiency are being demonstrated in multiple market segments. Mr. Lifsey brings to View more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor, automotive, industrial, and defense industries. Most recently Mr. Lifsey was the COO of Atmel Corporation where he led the global operational restructuring that supported the successful turn-around of the company. Prior to joining Atmel, Mr. Lifsey was Executive Vice President of Operations at International Rectifier Corporation, Director of Global Marketing and Planning for AMP Inc., and held operational and financial management positions at TRW Corporation. He holds a B.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
