Şişecam has announced the appointment of Can Yücel as its new CEO, following a Board of Directors meeting held on April 30, 2025. Yücel succeeds Mustafa Görkem Elverici, who has stepped down from the role.

With an extensive background in banking, Yücel has held several senior positions at Türkiye İş Bankası, including Deputy CEO, and has served as a member of Şişecam's Board of Directors since January 2022. His professional journey began at İşbank's Inspection Board and evolved through key roles in corporate lending and project finance. In 2021, he was appointed Deputy CEO of İşbank and completed an executive program at Harvard Business School the same year.

Fluent in English, Yücel is married with one child. His appointment marks a strategic shift, positioning him to bring his deep financial expertise into the industrial sector. Şişecam shared the leadership change through a public disclosure on the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
