Walker Glass will be featuring its newest products at the upcoming GlassBuild America show. Satinlite, from Walker Textures™ is the company’s lightest etch, offering the most translucent finish of all.

Satinlite provides 17% more wear resistance and 40% more scratch resistance than float glass, and a similar resistance to staining. This finish offers a high level of light transmission, while reducing glare. Satinlite is suitable for applications requiring enhanced color and image rendering, marker boards, projection screens as well as exterior use.

In addition, the new acid-etched glass product line for bird safe building design, Walker TexturesT M AviProtek, will be featured for the first time. When used on the number 1 surface, the acid etched surface offers excellent threat factors ranging from 5 to 29.8. This is an important component of USGBC’s LEED pilot credit 55 on Bird Collision Deterrence.
