Yesterday marked the opening of Vitrum 2013, the leading international glass show taking place in the Rho Milan Fairgrounds, October 23 through 26.

Attendance data on the 1st dayItalian visitors: 1.242 Overseas visitors: 2.125 Total visitors: 3.367 A 3.16% increase in total attendance was reported compared to the 2011 show, with overseas visitors up by 6.30%.The first Vitrum day also saw the inauguration of a unique exhibit dedicated to the iconic Alfa Romeo cars.On display 9 cars, among which, the 4C, the latest brainchild by the acclaimed Italian car maker, displayed for the first time in a show dedicated to glass processing technology. The Alfa Romeo's genius will grab visitors' attention in a thematic journey staged in three distinct areas in Pavillons 13, 22 and 24.
