App Retains All Functionality and Features of iOS Version - Four months after being unveiled at the AIA National Convention in Chicago, the ViraconGlass iPad app is now available as a web app on the Viracon website.

Architects and designers can use the app on their personal computers or any operating system, thanks to its browser-based functionality.

To use the ViraconGlass web app, visit: http://www.viracon.com/page/viraconglass-visualizer.

Just like the iOS version, the app allows users to select from 25 different coatings on 15 substrates, presenting transmitted and reflective glass color on a variety of building types. The models can then be viewed under different lighting conditions from both interior and exterior perspectives and can be compared to one another.

With a specific glass project in mind, users can also explore size capability by dragging a corner with a simple click of a mouse, or entering the dimensions manually in the Sizing Tool. Viracon’s web app includes all of the same side-by-side comparisons and product performance information as the iOS version.

“With the ViraconGlass app now on our website, anyone, anywhere, on any device can use it,” says Garret Henson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Viracon. “With universal access to the tool, now all of our customers can research and experiment with color, sizing and performance data for their next glass project.”

The iOS version of the ViraconGlass app can be downloaded by visiting the iOS App Store using an iPad or iPad Mini and using the search term “Viracon.”
