Viracon, the nation’s leading single-source architectural glass fabricator, will showcase its breadth of glazing options and unveil four brand new products at the 2013 AIA National Convention, June 20-22 in Denver, CO.

The Viracon exhibit will feature the new products and a total of 25 different architectural glass products. It will include a mixture of glass substrate colors, coatings and performance attributes that represent a wide variety of building applications. In addition to the products themselves, the Viracon booth will feature the company’s new logo and branding. The new look was revealed in March 2013.

The following products will be displayed and introduced for the first time by Viracon at AIA 2013:

  • VUE-30 – A high-performance coating designed to reduce solar heat gain (VUE1-30 = Solar Heat Gain Coefficient of .18 and a visible light transmission of 31%)

  • RoomSide™ Low-E – An interior surface coating designed to improve the u-value of a dual pane insulating glass unit by as much as 20%

  • ExtremEdge™ – A warm edge spacer designed to improve edge of glass u-value

  • Graphite Blue™ - A light blue-grey substrate that combines high light transmission with low reflectivity. Excellent solar control can be achieved when combined with one of Viracon’s Low-E coatings

“Our research and development team has been busy this year,” says Kevin Anez, Director of Marketing for Viracon. “We look forward to sharing what they’ve been working on at the AIA show. Viracon’s commitment to its customers, in large part, means an ever-increasing variety and scope of products.”
