OWATONNA, Minn – April 20, 2010 – Greg Silvestri, president of leading glass fabricator Viracon, has announced that Bradley J.

Austin, vice president of sales and marketing, has been appointed president of Harmon, Inc. Harmon services the building glazed exterior for new construction, repair, replacement and renovation. Both Viracon and Harmon are owned by Minneapolis-based Apogee Enterprises.
 
In the immediate short term, Silvestri will assume Austin’s former responsibilities. "While Brad will be greatly missed, our superior sales organization is well- prepared for a smooth transition," said Silvestri. "We have complete confidence the transition will be seamless and we are well equipped to manage the needs of our customer base."
 
Austin assumes his new position on April 21. Austin has been with Viracon since 1978 and is well recognized in the industry for his leadership and expertise in the glass industry.
