Turomas announces changes in its Board of Directors, adding José Luis Escriche as the new Chief Operating Officer of Turomas.

As of January 1st, Jose Luis Escriche becomes the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TUROMAS, recognized glass machinery manufacturer. Together with Álvaro Tomás, who will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), they will conform the new TUROMAS management body.

José Luis Escriche, a professional with an outstanding career in the glass sector, has been an integral part of the Turomas Group since its beginnings. He began his career at TUROMAS running the machining section until he later took over the management of ADA Distribuciones Técnicas.

Escriche, with more than 20 years of commercial experience in the glass, double glazing and façade industry, has become an essential figure within TUROMAS. Not only does he provide technical knowledge, but also key factors such as customer proximity and customer commitment.

Now, he assumes this new position full of energy and conviction to further boost the Spanish company’s growth and meet the challenge of maintaining and consolidating its international expansion.

A smooth transition

Antonio Ortega, who has recently announced his departure from the group, hands over the leadership to Tomás and Escriche with total confidence that they will guide Turomas towards a successful future. Although Ortega will officially leave his position on 31 December, he will continue his relationship with the Group by providing financial advice.
