The Thinnest Glass is Newly Born in Luoyang

Date: 15 January 2014

What would you think the thinnest glass thickness can be? Can you imagine the thickness only 0.33mm, that is just as thick as 4 sheets of paper? On Jan 6, LUOYANG GLASS COMPANY LIMITED made it possible.

It is internally and internationally recognized as the thinnest glass.

As is known to all, the thinner the glass sheet is, the higher the technological requirements will be. For over the decades, China relies on imports for ultra-thin glass, especially those under 0.5 mm in thickness. Successfully developing the 0.33mm glass means we have mastered the key technologies of producing ultra-thin glass. This kind of glass will bring about technology revolution in electronics, micro-electronics and new energy industries as well.

Luoyang is one of the key technology centers of glass and glass machine industry in China. This technical breakthrough will certainly add to our city honors. As a member of the glass machine family, LandGlass hopes to see a lot more improvements in research and development in the year of 2014 and we will spare no effort to reach our new peak.
