A strong Team introduces himself / Promised - Implemented: After the acquisition of A+W by the Friedman Operating Group, the world market leader announced a significant enforcement of his team, especially in the important areas of service and sales / consulting.

Mark Thompson:President A+W Software, North America Mark is leading A+W’s North American team since July 2013, following the acquisition of A+W by the Friedman Operating Group.He is in charge of Sales and Services. Mark is a veteran in the windows and glass industry, which he served for almost twenty years. Mark continues as the President and CEO of the Friedman Operating Group, which he joined in 1995 as the CFO. Mark is a licensed CPA/CMA and has an MS in Accounting from the University of Arizona.

Robert Anderson:

Director of Sales, Glass

Robert hast joined A+W in 2010.He is responsible for the sales area in North America and Australia.

He has 10 years of glass industry experience. Robert has joined us from an international machine company in the glass industry.

Shawn Graska:

Director of Sales, Fenestration

Shawn Graska was appointed as Director of Sales, Fenestration August 19, 2013 bringing another level of Professional support for the windows and doors section of A+W Software USA.

At Glass Build America, Shawn will introduce himself to the North American window industry (where he is no nameless face anyway) in his new position. With an Applied Science Degree in Architecture, Shawn is a full-blooded salesman with a solid technical background with 35 years in the fenestration industry and many years of experience in developing and selling software for the window, door and facade industry.

Andy Hodge:

Vice President of Professional Services

Andy is overseeing the customer care and professional services for A+W’s glass and fenestration ERP customers in the rapidly expanding North American market. He is a fenestration industry professional with over 25 years of experience in  development, services, sales and support. Andy joined the Friedman Operating Group in 2009 when his company, Windflite Computer Systems, was acquired. He continues as President of Windflite and also serves in executive management positions with sister Friedman companies PMC Software and Xdata Solutions. Andy holds a BS in Management from Purdue University.

Eike Luh:

Director of Customer Care

Eike did his apprenticeship with A+W in Linden, Germany from 1998 to 2001. He worked in the fenestration support until March 2002, supporting the US & Canadian market.

Consequently, he moved to Toronto to work for the North American A+W subsidary in March 2002 to support fenestration, and later on the glass industry (implementation and support), which was to become his major focus. He moved to Seattle in 2004, and worked as a senior engineer being able to support both the commercial and technical software packages from A+W. In July 2013 he was promoted to be the new head of customer care.

Renaud Schmitt:

Support Engineer

Renaud has been in glass/windows industry since 2003. He started at D-Calc America (software company for windows and doors). In 2005, he joined A+W, and started to work on the glass side, supporting/implementing Alfak (A+W Business). He then moved on to the fenestration side. Renaud implemented Cantor in North America and Europe. Currently, he is in charge of supporting both the glass and fenestration software of A+W.

Vincent Fong:

Technical Software Eng.

Vincent has been working at the glass company AFGD starting 1999 on the shop floor. He has been involved with all parts of the operation from customer service to floor production to shipping, and moved up to the position of Assistant Plant Manager. In 2003 he started working for Durabuilt Windows & Doors as an IT Manager, where he was involved with the implementation of an ERP system and working with the machinery on the floor. In 2006, he joined A+W and has been working with A+W as a Technical Software Engineer ever since. In total, he has over 14 years of Glass experience and 7 years of Window experience.
