PITTSBURGH, June 11, 2009 – PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) has named Mark Seeton director of sales, performance glazings.

He replaces Mark Fanelli, who retired from the position June 1.



Seeton, who joined PPG in 2003, most recently served as sales manager, performance glazings, where he oversaw sales in the eastern United States. Prior to joining PPG, Seeton was the divisional sales manager for Pella Corp. in Pittsburgh. He began his career at PPG as national accounts manager, window and door.

In a related announcement, Glenn Davis was appointed to Seeton’s former post as sales manager, performance glazings. He will be responsible for sales in the eastern United States and for managing a residential insulating glass unit fabrication facility in Allentown, Pa. Davis joined PPG in 1983 and was most recently director of sales leadership in the corporate growth department.

Seeton and Davis are both graduates of the Pennsylvania State University. Seeton has a bachelor of science degree in marketing. Davis holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering and a master of business administration degree from Kent State University.
