Saint-Gobain opens European financial markets

Date: 24 September 2015

To mark the Group’s anniversary, Pierre-André de Chalendar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, rang the bell to open the European financial markets at Euronext Paris, on September 17.

This was an opportunity for Saint-Gobain to point out that the Group has been continuously listed since 1902 and included in the CAC 40 index since it was created in 1988. “Listed for 113 years, but just how many partners and shareholders have believed in Saint-Gobain over its 350 years of existence! I would like to take the opportunity here today to thank them all, as I also thank all the employees who have made Saint-Gobain since its beginnings when the capital was divided into the sols and deniers of the day,” said Pierre-André de Chalendar.Watch the ceremony video.
