Saint-Gobain Glass And REHAU The Latest Big Names To Sign For The FIT Show: Only 20 Stands Remain Unsold

Date: 29 June 2012

Saint-Gobain Glass, manufacturer of Planitherm, the UK’s best selling Low E glass, and market leading window systems company REHAU are the latest big names to sign contracts to take part in The FIT Show next year.

"Saint-Gobain Glass" href="http://www.fitshow.co.uk/exhibitors/swisspacer-saint-gobain">Saint-Gobain Glass, the biggest manufacturer of flat glass in Western Europe, signed following close analysis of how the event will complement the company’s huge Planitherm marketing campaign. “We believe that The FIT Show will provide us with an unique opportunity to meet existing and potential members of the Planitherm Installer Network face-to-face and have a two-way dialogue about the merits of joining,” said Susan Lambeth, Senior Product Manager for SGG. “We will have two years of the Planitherm campaign under our belts by then so it will be perfect for discussing the next phase with our customers and partners.”

REHAU signed for The FIT Show as the giant Fensterbau exhibition closed. Wolfgang Gorner, Director, Window Division, REHAU UK said that The FIT Show is perfectly poised to reach British window, door and conservatory fabricators and installers that would not have travelled to the German event: “It is clear that the UK market wants its own event. It has been some time since we participated in a show for the glass and glazing industry in the UK but The FIT Show is the right event at the right time. Predictions are that the economy will improve from 2013 and we hope that visitors will be in a buying mood. REHAU will have something very special to show them at The FIT Show.”

Saint-Gobain Glass and REHAU are two of around 20 more companies that have signed contracts or reserved space in the first three weeks of June, taking the total stands booked to more than 120. Crucially less than 20 stands remain. The latest names to sign contracts for The FIT Show in addition to Saint-Gobain Glass and REHAU include:

J Tools ; Glass Express; Fullex; Look Tools; Profile Developments; Direct Trade; Connaught Conservatory Roofs; Georgian Bar Company; Renolit; ODL Europe; Rapier Star; Thermoseal; Smart Fit; Crystal Direct; Mighton; Timberwindows.com; Selecta; MPL; PWG Trading; Duffells

Director of The FIT Show Matthew Glover says that more than 90% of space has now been contracted and reserved: “The speed with which stand bookings have been made has been extraordinary. We still have 10 months to go until The FIT Show opens but have less than 20 stands left. It’s great to be in this position but also to see how the window, door and conservatory industry is so fired up, really going for it and showing the fighting spirit that exists.”

The FIT Show will take place at The Telford International Centre, Telford, on 16th, 17th and 18th April 2013. For more information including full details on how to exhibit and to register for tickets please go to www.fitshow.co.uk.
