The decision has been made to start up the Group's UK5 Float Line at Greengate later in this financial year, to supply coated products for the growing Solar Energy glass market.

The Solar Energy coated glass produced on UK5 will require a further cutting operation, which will be completed on the Bottero line at the Cowley Hill site.The cutting line will need to be re-commissioned and upgraded.
 
Approximately 130 positions, made up of both temporary and permanent positions, will be created by this opportunity, and recruitment is underway.
