The Porto Marghera plant in Venice has had its certification for the quality and environmental standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and EMAS reconfirmed following an inspection in May.

The reaccreditation is proof of the continuing improvement in the site's environmental impact. UNI certification and the CE mark for the production of bullet proof laminated glass at the site have also been reconfirmed. The CE mark is mandatory on stratified glass but the UNI mark is a voluntary certification of the product and indicates that the performance levels are higher than the minimum required by law.
