Date: 14 October 2013

Oxidal confirms its on-going research and focus on the demands of architecture, presenting a new balustrade clamping system and a new series of wall fixing screws, at MADE Expo 2013.

SIRIO FIt's a new system for balustrade clamping available in flush-mounted or at sight version, with top or side wall fixing.Sirio F is suitable to any kind of installation and load requirements; the tests carried out ensure compliance with all current norms. At the stage of planning and manufacturing, simulations of load and static tests have been carried out both on glass profiles and panes, along with impact and resilience tests. All tests were carried out in cooperation with ITC–CNR, a nationally and internationally established agency, and at the most rigorous conditions both for the pane and for the framing profile.Sirio F is designed to make the installerʼs job easy, as it does not require any special tools for assembly and glass panels already installed can be adjusted easily by means of fixing systems getting the alignement simple and fast.Sirio F is suitable for glass thickness from 17.52 to 21.52 mm, it is made of aluminium and is available with or without covers, in silver or stainless steel look finish; other finishes are also available on request.

COMBO

This new series of fixing screws consists of several elements whose combination allows for adjustments in the thickness of spacers: a further tool for the development of new architectural solutions. The system includes a regulation for the alignment of panes and wall compensation for tailor-made solutions.

The package also includes two alternative glass-fixing screws, flared or flat, allowing for different visual effects. The entire series is in stainless steel 316.
