The Group will be showcasing a window unit containing Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) that allows a building to generate renewable energy.

The NSG Group, owner of the Pilkington brand, will be exhibiting its latest innovations at this year’s Glasstec in Dusseldorf on 20th – 23rd September 2016.

The Group will be showcasing a window unit containing Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) that allows a building to generate renewable energy,  helping improve energy performance.

The company will also unveil its new digital display mirror products and a corrosion and humidity-resistant chromium based mirror.

Coated with a highly reflective mirror coating, Pilkington MirroView™ and Pilkington MirroView™ 50/50 products are ideal for concealing digital displays and video screens when they are turned off. When the display is turned on, the glass allows the display to show through.

Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome is a chromium based mirror that can be used for wet areas and rooms with high humidity, making it suitable for applications in bathrooms, hotel lobbies, health clubs or gyms, as well as technical applications such as commercial refrigeration and lighting systems.

In addition, the company will showcase Pilkington OptiView™, a new anti-reflective glass that offers high light transmission, low reflection and UV blocking.

The glass is suitable in applications which require clarity of view and a neutral colour, such as display cases, retail shop fronts, showrooms, sports stadiums, cabinets or outdoor digital signage.

The NSG Group will be in Hall 10 on stand D34.
