Maurice “Newt” Newton Little passed away Friday, Feb. 9, after a long battle with several health issues, according to his obituary.

Little and his wife, Linda, founded ACE Glass in 1986. Their son, Courtney Little, purchased the business in 2008 and is now president and general counsel.

LITTLE’S LEGACY IN THE INDUSTRY

Known as Newt to friends and colleagues, Little served two terms on the NGA board of directors from 2009 through 2015. He was an early advocate and adopter of glazier training and helped guide NGA’s initial education strategy, which has grown to include MyGlassClass.com, the NGA Glazier Apprenticeship Curriculum, and most recently, MyGlassFAB.com for fabricators.

His dedication to helping others in our industry was both foundational and inspirational. Little was always at the ready with a story and a smile. His son Courtney follows in his father’s footsteps serving as a member of the current NGA board of directors and is active in many NGA activities.
