New owner, new opportunity for Millville glass firm

Local scientific glass manufacturer Wheaton was acquired on Monday by Duran Group, a portfolio company of funds advised by the private investment firm One Equity Partners Capital Advisors L.P.   Wheaton, a corporate descendant of T.C.

Wheaton Co. founded here in 1888, is a global supplier of glassware for use in life sciences and research settings with some sales to clinical laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry.
