Forbes reported that the European Commission said its new inquiry deadline for French building materials supplier Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA's proposed 2.125 bln eur acquisition of HeidelbergCement AG's premix and exclay maker maxit Group is Feb 19.





In November, the commission said the notification it received for the proposed acquisition was incomplete, and that the parties must renotify the transaction, with a new deadline for its inquiry set the usual 25 working days following receipt of the notification.
