Mr. Guo Minsheng, Director of the Provincial Intellectual Property Office, Visits LandGlass for Investigation and Research

On December 21st, a delegation led by Mr. Guo Minsheng, the director of the provincial Intellectual Property Office, including Wu Dengzhan, the Chief of the Coordination and Administration Office, and Liu Zhinan, the Deputy Chief paid a visit to LandGlass for investigation & research and work guidance against the biting wind and freezing temperature.

Other officers such as Gao Liping, the Assistant Secretary General of Luoyang City, Ren Changshan, the head of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Wang Yu, the chief of the municipal Intellectual Property Office, Secretary Jiang Lei and the Deputy Director General Cheng Ying accompanied as well.

They firstly visited the production site of LandGlass to learn details of the features, technological superiority and marketing environment concerning glass tempering furnaces of LandGlass. Mr. Guo highly praised LandGlass‘s strategy of development through innovation when he learned the facts that LandGlass has always been adhering to the concept of self-dependent innovation and launching new products, that its glass tempering furnaces have firmly taken the international high-end market of glass processing equipments, and that its products are sold in dozens of countries and regions such as Europe, the United States, Canada, etc.

After the visit, Mr. Guo attended a meeting on condition of intellectual property work presented by Zhao Yan, the President and General Manager of LandGlass. When he learned that the flat & bent bi-direction glass tempering furnace of LandGlass had won the 14th China Patent Gold Award recently, Mr. Guo fully affirmed its practices of maintaining dominant technological advantages through self-dependent innovation, facilitating marketing promotion through patent advantages and fueling rapid development of the company through patent strategy. He required relevant departments to support the development of the enterprise’s intellectual property work and provide suggestions for enterprises on management methods, system establishment and operation experience of intellectual property. Mr. Guo and the General Manager Zhao Yan had an in-depth exchange on protection and application of intellectual property rights. He also indicated that LandGlass shall collect and bind up its experiences on intellectual property work and serve as experimental unit in the province for the purpose of promotion; meanwhile, he expressed his wishes for LandGlass to gather and summarize more experience and apply them in practices extensively, so as to enhance its ability in creating, utilizing, protecting and managing intellectual property and gain better economic and social benefits.
