The event will be held September 18-20 in Tampa, FL, at the Tampa Convention Center and Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina.During the conference, attendees will take part in educational seminars by industry leaders and expert speakers, network on the Exhibition/Extravaganza show floor with window film manufacturers and suppliers and view the Tint-Off™ competitions. This year, Madico Window Films will also be taking advantage of the show’s close proximity to our manufacturing facility and offering tours of the Madico factory to interested dealers. You can register for the tour, here.
During a recent interview with Window Film magazine, Madico’s marketing and customer relations manager Angie Leonetti, described what attendees can expect to see from Madico at the show, “We will be showcasing our full line of Madico and Sun-Gard automotive and flat glass films. We are also looking forward to meeting with prospective dealers who are interested in our new Sunscape Designer Film program. In addition, we’ll be hosting a presentation on installation techniques and specific tools geared toward safety/security film products and improving flat glass installation productivity.”
This year’s Tint-Off competition is the largest one yet with 60 automotive and 25 architectural competitors. Madico has sponsored two tinters in the competition, Hahn Kim from Song’s Tint Masters in Los Angeles, CA and Damon McKenzie from Performance Tinters in Babson Park, FL. We also have a number of other loyal customers participating in the competition. The Tint-Off’s bring together tinters from around the world to showcase their skills and compete for the $10,000 prize. Industry veterans judge the competitors’ tint installations as well as their procedures, safety, cleanliness and customer interaction. It is also a chance to learn from other professionals, execute quality installations, pick up innovative techniques and of course compete for the chance to hold the title of “World’s Best Architectural or Automotive Window Film Tinter.”
Our very own Andy Hayes, technical services engineer, has been chosen as a presenter for the show’s seminar series. Andy will be presenting “Installation Techniques for Architectural Glass and Safety/Security Films.” This session will review installation techniques related to safety and security film products and how you can gain a better understanding of specific tools for the flat glass market. There will also be a review of installation techniques that are specific for flat glass, to help you improve productivity.
We look forward to meeting with our valued dealers at this year’s show. Please plan to visit the Madico Window Films booth, # 313!
The International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off is co-sponsored by Window Film magazine and the International Window Film Association.
