Made for Trade are consolidating their strong position in the industry with year-on-year growth of in excess of 40%.

A leading trade manufacturer of SMART Visofold 1000 bi-folding doors and Synseal Global conservatory roofs, Made for Trade are consolidating their strong position in the industry with year-on-year growth of in excess of 40%.

With the anticipated introduction of the brand new Korniche aluminium lantern roof, the nationwide manufacturer will enter 2017 with more exciting plans and aim to continue to go from strength-to-strength.

Due to rapid growth, Made For Trade have expanded factory floor space by a further 25000 sq ft, increased employee numbers to over 80, and have added two 7.5 ton lorries to their fleet of delivery vehicles, with one more on order.

Fabrication demand has led to more high specification CNC door routers from Emmegi being added to facilitate the growth in orders that are now being received. The investment has been crucial to maintain the highly efficient manufacturing process and nationwide delivery service.

Made for Trade's Managing Director, Bradley Gaunt, explained: “The industry has changed, leading to buyers shopping around for high quality products at the best possible prices. Our aim has always been to fulfil this criteria and as a result, we have acquired a loyal customer base of over 900 companies.”

The company has seen further demand and an increase in enquiries after launching the Korniche aluminium lantern roof in November.

Bradley continued: “We are all very excited about the new Korniche lantern and the introduction in the last few weeks has seen an influx of orders and a great deal of interest. We introduced the game changing Korniche at the FIT Show earlier this year and were blown away with the way it was received.”

The Korniche has been designed from scratch by Made For Trade with every component being new and not used in other roofs, unlike other current systems available on the market which are generally contrived conservatory profiles.

It features fixings that are all hidden to allow for very slim unbroken sightlines. In addition, no trimming or cutting to size any profile is required on site, allowing for quick and easy installation, with every part connecting together effortlessly.

Bradley added: “The Korniche has been developed by ourselves and it has taken us 2 years to design and bring to market with its ground-breaking features and boasting of what we think are the fastest installation times on the market.”

Made For Trade have also ensured the lantern requires no silicone sealant in the roof structure itself, with the only silicone required being between the base of the eaves beam and the existing structure.

The Korniche is fully thermally broken to give the lowest U-values, giving it excellent insulation properties and also features an innovative all-in-one glass lock and retainer to ensure the locating and locking of the glass is easy and secure.

Bradley concluded: “We think we have the strongest lantern roof on the market, with sizes of up 6m x 4m. The roof is undergoing BBA testing as we speak. The engineered attributes make Korniche the very best aluminium lantern on the market.”

With continued investment and enthusiasm, plus the latest innovation of the Korniche, 2017 is set to be another year of considerable growth for Made for Trade.
