Episode overview: Technological deep dives across the board

Starting with basic processes such as cutting and deletion, it quickly becomes clear how heavily both the quality and durability of insulating glass are influenced right from the early production phases. When it comes to the durability of insulating glass units, it is clearly apparent how important precise process management, material selection and quality control are for permanently stable products.

Building on this, the series takes a close look at the interaction between entire production lines. Intralogistics and automation are categorised as production drivers – from intelligent buffer and sorting systems to robotics and the targeted decoupling of individual process steps aimed at improving throughput, flexibility and space efficiency. The season also turns to laminated glass – with insights into pre-lamination, pressing and integrated solutions for the stable production of laminating glass.

Another focus is on the growing digitalisation of glass production. Looking ahead, the second season also focusses on technologies and framework conditions with a long-term impact. Highlights include the current and potential application fields of laser technology, while episodes on sustainability and standardisation illustrate how energy efficiency, life cycle approaches and uniform machine communication form the basis for future-proof, networked production concepts.

This comprehensive technological focus is supplemented by a look at service: Modern service approaches – from remote service and preventive maintenance to LONGLiFE upgrades and parameter backups – are seen as an integral part of stable and economical production.

Knowledge that connects

With the new season of LiSTEN LiSEC, the podcast is positioning itself as a knowledge platform for technological excellence along the entire glass added value chain. LiSTEN LiSEC combines detailed technical knowledge with comprehensible categorisation – for all those who not only use industrial technologies, but also want to understand them in context.

The new, English-language episodes will be released monthly on all popular podcast platforms.
