Date: 4 April 2012

Cutting Edge Ltd, is a prominent Midlands based window, door and conservatory roof manufacturer recognised for providing the highest possible standards in product quality, customer support and staff training programmes.

To further support customers through a difficult economy over the course of the next 12 months the company will be developing and releasing a range of new marketing initiatives, products and incentives. Established over 12 years ago in Staffordshire, Shirley Peake, Mal Whitehurst & Gareth Jones, the original Directors, had great aspirations to establish the company as being at the forefront of the industry when launched. Believing that nothing should be done by halves the company has subsequently established a dependable reputation and loyal customer base based on this ethos.

Over the years, Cutting Edge Ltd has seen steady and positive growth supplying the trade, both locally and nationally with the highest quality products. Being at the forefront of the industry in terms of guarantees and product quality reinforces the company’s commitment to provide customers with only the best products and service. Today the company occupies two sites in Stoke-on-Trent, one dedicated to window and door manufacture and the other dedicated to conservatory roof manufacture. As a trade manufacturer of Profile 22 PVCu windows and doors, and K2 Conservatory Roofing Systems the company is well placed to offer products and promises that will exceed customers’ expectations.

Additionally Cutting Edge Ltd stocks and supplies roofline profiles, trims and sealants offering a broad portfolio from under one roof, with all associated products available from the company’s dedicated Trade Counter. Being at the forefront of an industry means ensuring that all manufacturing methods are constantly evaluated and monitored to ensure customers only receive the highest standards in terms of product and support services. Using dedicated product specific machinery the Cutting Edge product range is manufactured to exacting standards with all windows, doors and conservatory roofs manufactured in-house under the BSI accredited ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) conditions with the windows being accredited to BS7412 and BS7950 Kitemark standards. This ensures that all manufactured products as well as internal methods and procedures are maintained at the highest level.

The In-house technical team has always maintained a pro-active approach to product development and production with strong supply chain support services and management structures in place, the company will continue to develop its products in line with market developments. As a leading fabricator the company is recognised by customers for performance, reliability and brand superiority. Part of the success is attributed to the entire team’s understanding of the pressures on their customers to install only the best. Senior management regularly research the market and listen to their customers ensuring that the Cutting Edge team can offer complete peace of mind. Attaining Kitemarks is just one element that demonstrates the company’s commitment to offer guarantees. Management is equally committed to ensuring customer satisfaction, expanding and diversifying the product range to provide complete solutions for a very competitive industry and initiating staff training programmes to encourage and reinforce the message of sustaining quality. Shirley Peake comments, “The industry standards are critical to the continued success of the business as there can be no room for doubt when it comes to the product guarantees we offer.

Additionally, many customers recognise that they can rely upon the technical assistance offered, which is free of charge and readily available. A highly skilled team including managers and support staff ensure that all queries are handled quickly.” With an enthusiastic approach to business it ensures that Cutting Edge customers remain loyal thanks to the flexible and highly professional services offered. Susanne Bradshaw Director at DNA Windows comments: “For the past two years we have used Cutting Edge as a supplier and are really happy with the service that we receive. We purchase all our frames, glass units and roofline products from them as they are not only reasonably priced but are also of a high quality. The team has a friendly and flexible approach with quotes normally returned to us on the same day. As a highly reliable company we are very satisfied with the service we receive from Cutting Edge and would highly recommend them” As the name would suggest Cutting Edge is now considered a market leading fabricator with an eye on future market direction and customer support. In the coming months management will be introducing a number of new initiatives for customers to help them maintain that competitive edge in a difficult market. Shirely Peake concludes, “Understanding our customers’ needs and responding accordingly has been a major part of our 12 year success story. Monitoring industry direction, listening to customer needs and ensuring product quality reinforces the strong and stable position we have established which our customers know they can rely upon.”
