On Tuesday, the 9th July, signing the sales contract the joint stock company „Valmieras stikla škiedra” bought the entity P-D Interglas Technologies Ltd in Great Britain.

The contract is valid with the date of 1st January 2013.       


“The purchase of P-D Interglas Technologies Ltd is one of the way the JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra” is continuing to strengthen and expand the production of fiber glass and its’ products in the world. We see a strong capability for growth, unifying the knowledge, experience and export possibilities of both companies as well as by making and developing new projects,” says the chairman of the board Andris Oskars Brutāns.


With the purchase of P-D Interglas Technologies Ltd the JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra” is positioning itself as a vertically integrated supplier of different composite materials for the aviation industry – from glass fiber production to impregnated / reinforced fabrics.


The bought company has more than 80 year experience in glass fiber textile processing. The annual turnover of P-D Interglas Technologies Ltd last year reached 20 Mill. Euros and there are more than 130 employees.
