The following stocks are on the move on Tuesday: **NIPPON SHEET GLASS UP AFTER REPORT ON PROFIT BOOST** Nippon Sheet Glass Co.

Ltd. rises 1.4 percent to 645 yen after the Nihon Keizai Shimbun quoted the company's president as saying that Nippon Sheet Glass will aim to boost profits by more than 10 billion yen from the acquisition of British glass maker Pilkington Plc .

Previously, the company said it would expect a yearly synergy effect of 4.4 billion yen generated by the buyout. 0043 GMT **DAIKIN JUMPS AFTER BULLISH TARGET**

Daikin Industries Ltd. gains 4.6 percent to 3,880 yen to become the best Nikkei 225 performer.
