„Innovation Award Architecture + Windows Door Facade”

The Innovation Award is intended for manufacturers of innovative products in the fields of windows, doors and facades, as well as architects, interior designers and designers who work in these areas.The Award was initiated to honour products that correspond to the requirements of architects to an outstanding degree.The prize recognises conceptual solutions and selected products, which satisfy in design and functionality. Important assessment criteria are the degree of intelligent technical solutions and the variety of application.



There is a great and interbranching response to the Innovation Award: 31 products have been submitted. A jury of seven renowned architects and interior designers will decide upon the winners and special mentions on March 16th, 2016, the opening day of the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE.

The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 at 5pm at the booth of the Innovation Award, NCCO-109. We cordially invite you to attend the award ceremony.



All participating products will be displayed for the entire duration of the fair at the special exhibtion of the Innovation Award at booth NCCO-109. In addition, all participants will be published in a special issue of AIT and xia Intelligente Architektur.



Besides the Innovation Award Architecture+ Windows Door Facade, the journals AIT and xia Intelligente Architektur initiate innovation competitions for the lighting-, textile-, office furniture-, sanitation system-, flooring- and presentation industry as well as the building and construction industry on the respective trade fairs Light & Building at Frankfurt a.M., Orgatec at Cologne, ISH at Frankfurt a.M., EuroShop at Dusseldorf, Heimtextil at Frankfurt a.M. and Bau at Munich.
