The Certification Information Portal (CIP) is now in the beginning stages of its rollout to the industry and features capabilities that will give users more accessibility into the certification practice than ever before.

The Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC), the leading provider of independent IG certification globally is pleased to announce the launch of its newest and most important resource to date.

The Certification Information Portal (CIP) is now in the beginning stages of its rollout to the industry and features capabilities that will give users more accessibility into the certification practice than ever before.

The CIP is a very user friendly system that gives the customer immediate access to their account as well as:

  • The ability to track action items
  • See product certification and test status
  • Retrieve product history
  • Provide storage of Audit and Test Reports

Everything is held in a secure environment with the protection of client information of the utmost importance. Early users of the system have had nothing but very positive things to say about it.

“I really like the new CIP system that IGCC has put up for participants. Being able to see the reports and have access to them by plant makes the job of saving hard copies almost a thing of the past,” said Mark Hutchinson, CMQ | Manager - Technical & Sales Support of Intigral.

“This system makes it easy for us to stay up-to-date on the status of all our product certifications. All my tedious tracking is now automated, opening up time to do more meaningful activities. It’s a very handy tool and makes communication easy, too,” commented Christian Cirino, IG Design & Certification Manager, Associated Materials.

The CIP offers tremendous benefits for the user such as:

  • Easily see and respond to Action Items (Including audit findings)
  • 24/7 Access to Certification documents
  • Centralized Storage of Certification-related information
  • Multi-location Certification status

The IGCC was founded in 1977 and has been an industry watchdog since day 1. The third-party process in place is ANSI accredited and the desire to add more efficiency to the program with a tool like the CIP is greatly appreciated by its users.

“The IGCC Certification Info Portal is a well thought out, online tool for viewing all aspects of the certification documents and status.  Strict login credentials keep the information private. The CIP is user friendly and very intuitive.  IGCC is to be commended for launching this tool on behalf of all of its licensees.” - David J. Cooper, Guardian Industries Corporation

The rollout of the new system is in its earliest juncture, however if users would like to sign up for a CIP account, they can email the IGCC team at staff@amscert.com
