Hungarian-Hirschler Glas, a vehicle rear view mirror producer based in Sopron (189 km west of Budapest), Hungary, has inaugurated an HUF 413 million production hall with help from an HUF 196 million government grant.

The company won a HUF 196 mln government grant for the investment. The 1,000 square-meter production hall puts Hirschler in a better position to apply to supply Ficosa International and Dacia, said owner and managing director Judit Hirschler. Partnering with the companies could result in a 30% expansion at Hirschler Glas, while raising headcount by 50%, she added.

Hirschler Glas employs 85 people at present to make more than 4 mln mirrors a year. The company had revenues of HUF 660 mln last year, public records show.
