Gulf Glass 2013 - one week to go

Date: 30 August 2013

There are just seven days until “curtain up” on this year’s eagerly awaited Gulf Glass exhibition, which will run from 3-5 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre.    “For Gulf Glass, this year’s show represents the fifth in the series, and the first to be held here in Dubai.

Since the last time edition took place (Abu Dhabi, 2011), the region and the industry has seen massive changes. There is no doubt that the entire Middle East region continues to drive for development and improvement, and as such the prospects for all aspects of the glass industry are extremely bright” says Derek Burston, exhibition director.

“Our goal has always been to make Gulf Glass the most important meeting place for the entire MENA region, and now we are in Dubai, we see it taking on an even more international significance. We believe that this year the 190 companies (nearly double the number of previous exhibitions) represented will benefit from that. As the show continues to grow and expand in its biennial slot, we look forward to continually shaping and developing the event to match the industry’s leads. Working in consultation with visitors and exhibitors alike is our key goal for shaping the future, and to making Gulf Glass a key, biennial meeting place for visitors and exhibitors not just from the region, but from the wider global glass industry here in Dubai, our new, permanent home” he adds.

If you have not registered as a visitor, there is still time to avoid the queues and gain rapid access to the exhibition hall.  Simply register your attendance at this year's most exciting glass industry event.
