Grenzebach celebrated its 25th anniversary in Newnan, Georgia, with a typical German Oktoberfest.    Among the highlights of this celebration was the speech of the company's founder and owner, Rudolf Grenzebach, which was translated for the audience by his daughter, Sonja Grenzebach-Proeller.Mr.

Rudolf Grenzebach expresses his gratitude to his employees

When Mr. Grenzebach started the Newnan location, he had a dream. It was the American dream; a dream of opportunities in a country that people in Europe could not even imagine. On this 25th anniversary, he thanked all the members of his team for their reliability, their dedication and commitment.

"I do not take this dedication for granted. I am very grateful and proud of our staff here in Newnan," he said and added that he was honored to be one of just 18 companies in Georgia to receive the SHARP award from OSHA this year in August.

Grenzebach employees Johnny Hosmer, Allan Burkett and Bruce McGuffey were presented with a framed certificate for their 25-year-long service at the Newnan facility.

Deputy Consul General Thomas Wülfing attended the festivities and congratulated Grenzebach on this important milestone in the company's history.

"Grenzebach is an excellent example for what makes Germany strong - our mid-sized, globalized, and highly successful companies," commented Wülfing. "It is living proof of our excellent German-American business partnership."

Lynn Smith also expressed their gratitude for Grenzebach’s involvement in the community and praised its executives for the company's "family-anchored" values, which are demonstrated through internship and apprenticeship programs and the company's ongoing work with STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education.

The crowd was entertained by the "Grenzebach Buam," a band of very talented employees from Grenzebach's headquarter in Bavaria. Guests also enjoyed a fully automated Grenzebach beer-pouring robot that was flown in especially for the event to give this celebration traditional Bavarian charm.
