Graboyes Commercial Window Company is pleased to announce that construction estimator Andrew D. Balas has joined the company.

Balas will work within the company’s estimating group collaborating with clients and partners on architectural glazing projects involving commercial window replacement, historic renovation, storefront, curtainwall, window wall, and interior glazed partition products and systems.

Balas recently graduated from Philadelphia University (now Jefferson University) with a Bachelor of Science in construction management. A dean’s list scholar, Balas brings estimating experience from his previous positions at Midatlantic Construction & Design Associates Inc., Roof Management Inc., and N2 Architecture.

“During my four years at college [in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia], I witnessed Graboyes helping to bring life back to nearby Alden Park as part of its historic renovation team,” said Balas. “I liked that Graboyes was capable of combining expertise in historic architecture with the future of construction, and I knew I needed to be a part of the team.”

“We know our clients will appreciate Andrew’s professionalism, experience, and enthusiasm as he collaborates with them on their construction projects,” said owner / president Ellis Guiles. “We’re thrilled to welcome Andrew to Graboyes and look forward to being a part of his career advancement.”
