DuPont recently announced the official launch of its first representative office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Through this strategic location, connected to Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, DuPont now can serve the growing markets of this region.

The office will enable DuPont to provide stronger marketing and technical support to its customers, partners and distributors in the region.



DuPont employees, business colleagues, customers, distributors and local media attended an inauguration ceremony. Ian Hudson , president, DuPont Europe, Middle East & Africa; Baligh Aba-Hussain, director, DuPont Saudi Arabia; and Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Sadoun, director general, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, spoke at the occasion.



“The new office builds on a series of DuPont investments to grow our business in emerging markets," said Ian. “Over the past several years, we have invested significantly in emerging markets. Dammam marks our commitment to grow in the Middle East.”



“This office investment is a reflection of the economic environment and customer demand for our diverse offerings,” said Baligh.
