The UNI technical body that deals with "doors and windows", i.e. the Subcommission 1 of the Commission Products and systems for the building organisation, recently met to define a draft of national opinion on the prestandard prEN 14351, future European standard for external doors and windows.

The comments laid down are intended to take into account the demands of the "rangers", i.e. those who manufacture a range of components that others assemble to produce the finished door or window.
