Within the CMS Glass Business Unit, the Engineering department plays a strategic role in developing advanced technological solutions for glass processing.

The team is led by Oliviero Ghisalberti, Head of Engineering for the Stone, Glass, and Metal business units, with over 30 years of industry experience. The team is structured into two specialist areas that work in close synergy: process engineering and product engineering.

PROCESS ENGINEERING

This area focuses on research and development aimed at continuously expanding and deepening process expertise. Our experts also provide time estimates and customized demo machining based on the specific needs of our customers. The group consists of highly qualified professionals with vertical expertise in CMS technologies and glass machinery.

PRODUCT ENGINEERING

This is CMS’s design workshop: focused on engineering design, this team supports the sales department in proposing and developing customizations for stand-alone machines or automated systems, tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.
This organizational structure allows CMS Glass Technology to offer a comprehensive, flexible, and highly qualified technical service, ensuring top performance and tailor-made solutions for every type of application and glassworks.
