Edgetech, the only dedicated manufacturer of Warm Edge Technology in the UK, has supported two more of its customers through EN1279 Part 3 accreditation for gas filling.

Andy Jones, Edgetech Managing Director comments: "We're pleased to congratulate Pioneer Trading and the Camden Group who are the latest companies to achieve Part 3 of EN1279 with Super Spacer and Super Spacer TriSeal respectively. Gas filling is becoming more important as window companies look to achieve Window Energy Ratings. Compliance with EN1279 Part 3 is a requirement of the BFRC Window Energy Rating scheme where gas filling is used. We encourage all Edgetech IGU manufacturing customers to achieve full accreditation in order to demonstrate that their sealed units meet the highest performance standards. That is why we offer technical support over and above any other component supplier, to all of our customers going through the process. As Window Energy Ratings become even more important next year with the proposed revision to Building Regulations requiring all replacement windows to achieve a C rating or above, we want to ensure we are helping our customers to future proof their businesses in every possible way."
