Edgetech Promotes New Marketing Project Manager

Edgetech I.G. has promoted Kim Kress to marketing project manager. In her new role, Kress is responsible for the organization, prioritization and management of all requests that come into Edgetech’s marketing services department.





Kress has worked at Edgetech since 2002 having served as a graphic designer. Prior to that she spent three years at Edgetech’s sister company, Lauren Manufacturing, as a marketing production coordinator and receptionist.  “Kim has been a great asset to the marketing team for several years and she has truly earned this promotion,” said Larry Johnson, executive vice president, Edgetech I.G. “Her expertise in graphic design and her knowledge of our company make her the perfect fit for this position.”



Kress attended Kent State’s main campus for visual communication design and Kent’s Tuscarawas campus for both HTML and Web design. She and her husband Brian are residents of New Philadelphia, where she enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her granddaughters.



“One of my goals in this new position is to streamline Edgetech’s marketing services for both internal and external customers,” Kress said. “I hope to do this by cultivating a more ‘lean’ structure once our department moves to our new design center in Cambridge this January.”
