Date: 9 July 2013

Eurotech Way introduces the new robot for cleaning and polishing the rollers in fused silica for the glass tempering furnaces.

This revolutionary robot is able to remove any kind of dirt attached / melted on the surface of the rollers as glass, enamel, SO2 residual, etc. .., by means of special discs. The operation of cleaning, polishing and final dusting, is done directly on the rollers inside the furnace in a fully automatic cycle and without the utilizing of any liquid, but absolutely in dry way . Furthermore, the robot forward inside the furnace automatically by using the rotary motion of the rollers.

The same robot is able to work on any type of roller furnace for tempering glass adapting to the different and various types of roller diameter, roller pitch, and different widths of the furnace, using suitable kit for the necessary configurations.

Many companies have believed in this innovative cleaning and polishing rollers system, resulting in the highest quality on the glass out of the tempering furnace. This achieved by the fact that all rollers treated as same and free of any impurities that would result in a downgrading of quality of the glass as cleaned by a robot with electronic control, and not manually, where it is impossible to achieve the same result. Moreover ,’the high shine level of the roller, allows to reduce drastically and if is slight , even going zero, definitively eliminating the defect of the white line existing after each cleaning the rollers at the time of the restart of the furnace.
