China Deal Glass Maker Has Eyes On Europe

MANUFACTURER of specialist optical glass is continuing its growth after striking a deal with a Chinese manufacture that will allow it to expand with greater volumes into Europe.





Phoenix Optical Glass based on the St Asaph Business Park in Denbighshire, supplies optical glasses used in a range of products, from binoculars to high-definition cameralenses.



It has concluded a deal with Chinese optical glass manufacturer CDGM to distribute its more than 200 types of glass to European customers.



Established in 1990, the company has expanded rapidly and now employees 45 people with plans for new investment and employment in the future.
