Hazlemere Commercial are delighted to have been awarded another contract by the CFBT Schools Trust to carry out a £181,000 + VAT refurbishment at Queensbury Academy in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

Queensbury Academy is a successful secondary school for eleven to eighteen year old’s with over 1,050 students, and is sponsored by the CFBT Schools Trust. The Trust have previously contracted Hazlemere Commercial to undertake refurbishment work at one of their schools in Berinsfield, Wallingford, Oxfordshire. The CFBT Schools Trust is a multi-academy trust consisting of 16 schools, 11 of which are primary and 5 are secondary academies and free schools. They are supported by Education Development Trust, an international education company that transforms lives by improving education around the world. The CFBT Schools Trust aims to inspire, challenge and support their leaders and teachers to make every lesson count.

The window and door replacement contract at Queensbury Academy involves Hazlemere Commercial manufacturing and installing white powder coated aluminium fenestration products including the Sapa DF75 Si casement window system and Sapa ST commercial entrance doors. The programme of works is scheduled to start in January 2019.
